Drawing and painting course - beginners and advanced

The course consists of 12 lessons of 2.5 hours on Wednesday evening. The aim is to learn to look at your environment in a different way and to show ideas and your own interpretation of reality In the first few lessons we’ll be drawing. Subjects include interiors, exteriors and still lives. We’ll pay attention to material exploration, colour, composition, perspective and recognizing different techniques.

After that we continue with the theme “the human being”. From scratch you will practise with pencil and brush on different poses and we will deal with portrait drawing and painting. 

In the last few lessons choice of subjects will be free, but we will keep our instruction moments, about materials, techniques or background (art study). The teacher will key into the needs and levels of the participants.

The course fee does not include course materials. During the first lesson the list of materials will be discussed.

A short break during dthe lesson is possible. If you are used to working on an easel, please bring your own field easel. It’s not possible to store work or materials at school.

 Viewing each other’s work is possible if we observe the corona rules in the classroom: keep 1.5 metres distance and/or use a face mask.
