Japanese beginners 1

The friendship between the Netherlands and Japan is more than 400 years old, and closer than you might think. Japan is known for its ancient traditions and at the same time for its technical innovations. Are you interested in this fascinating country? This course is the perfect opportunity to get (more closely) acquainted with the Japanese language, with its special sentence structure and use of characters. You will have the opportunity to work with the language in a structured way. 

In this course, you learn to speak and understand Japanese on the basis of elementary grammar. We also focus on writing and reading hiragana, one of the Japanese scripts. 

For this beginners’ course, you do not need any previous knowledge of Japanese, but you do need a basic knowledge of English, as the course book is in English. We will cover chapters 1 to 9 of Marugoto Starter (A1).
